Memories off the Shelf : The Future of Peninsula Plaza
– An informative comic book done by me to raise awareness of the Burmese culture in Singapore to the Burmese youth. This project is for the future of the Peninsula Plaza. I hope to raise awareness about the history and culture that the plaza holds through this project.
About
There are a lot of Burmese youths living here in Singapore but most of us have already drifted away from our Burmese identity overtime as we fit into the Singapore community. But there is still a warmth of old memories deep down in us.
This publication will deliver the nostalgic feeling of childhood Myanmar comic book with the content of how Peninsula Plaza will be deserted if our Generation-Z Burmese does not appreciate it in the future.
Characters, content, photographs were all illustrated and photographed by me. The book involve fictional cartoon characters created by me that tells the story and make the content less boring for the audience.
